The Mosaic Life Community
Here at The Mosaic Life, our community of readers has come to recognize the peace that comes by living the Christian life full of purpose and released from fear and failure. We’re growing in faith moment by moment and embracing the freedom Christ promises. We’ve learned it’s our job to offer the broken pieces of our lives to God and He will to create them into incredible masterpieces more beautiful than we can ask or imagine.
Are You in the Right Place?
If you’re not perfect, but are seeking a God who is, you’re in the right place.
If you’re passionate about living life in the here and now, valuing each moment as an opportunity to learn and grow, you’re in the right place.
If you desire a stronger and more authentic relationship with your spouse, your children, and your friends, you’re in the right place.
If you love to discover new books, resources, and discipleship tools, you’re in the right place.
My Blogging Journey
I started blogging over the Christmas holiday in 2007 first as a way to document the birth of my nephew and later to share our story of miscarriage, the birth of our precious girl {who survived this mama having emergency ovarian cyst surgery when she was a mere 6 weeks gestation}, and our adventures that followed. After I went back to work full time as a patient advocate for cancer patients and then became pregnant with our little boy in 2011, blogging fell by the wayside.
I kept up with the blogging world by working as the social media manager for my husband’s pastoral life coaching business, Sage Garden Care Center, but didn’t consider blogging again myself until I attended Emily Freeman’s At the Barn event in November of 2013.
There, among a handful of brave women seeking to break free from fear, I heard God speak to me about how he wanted me to use my gifts. I am to write and encourage other women on this journey of daily seeking and finding the peace, joy, and contentment that a life committed to Him brings. Mine is a story of redemption as the “good girl” who realized I need grace too. It is a story written daily in the midst of the struggle and in spite of it.

Will You Join Me on the Journey?
This blog is an outpouring of my heart and my desire to share this journey of pursuing purposeful Christian living. I’ve learned not to pursue God with a checklist of rules and ‘to do’s in my hand. But instead, we are to pursue Him as an overflow of our hearts drawing nearer to the only One who can fill us and prepare us for the works he has for us to do in this world to shine His light.
Dear friend, won’t you join me? It’s a journey you won’t regret. One we can travel together.
